South Whittlieburn Farm (SWF), owned and run by Tom and Mary Watson, provides~
• Camping field space.
• Caravan/Motor Home parking space, with power hook ups.
• Fixed caravans.
• Showers, toilets, dish washing sinks, and electric razor power points.
• Water supply points.
• Four Star Bed & Breakfast rooms in the farmhouse.

Intending IRW 2010 participants should book their accommodation in advance (if possible) by contacting Mr. & Mrs. Watson, as above. Participants arriving at SWF and wishing to stay there without prior booking will be accommodated, except that such accommodation will be limited to Camping (tent) field space, or Caravan/Motor Home parking space, but probably without power hook up, and if there is field or parking space available. All the Rooms and the parking spaces with power hook ups are likely to be fully booked by the dates of the IRW 2010 event. Other Hotel and Bed & Breakfast accommodation is available in the Largs area (please see below), but again advance booking is strongly advised, as there are other events going on in Largs at the same time as the IRW.
IRW 2010 participants who stay at SWF must make their accommodation payment direct to Mr & Mrs Watson, and not to the IRW 2010 Organisers.
Details of other Hotel and Bed & Breakfast accommodation in nearby Largs town and Fairlie village are available at: -
www.largs.org/local/hotels.htm
In addition to the domestic accommodation at SWF the IRW 2010 event will have the use of a Barn to provide dry, covered workshop space, with light and power supply. There will be some tables and chairs set up for rocket working in the Barn workshop, but if you are able to bring folding tables and chairs of your own, so much the better. If your tent or caravan/motor home has sufficient space you are welcome to do all your rocket prep, build, repair and sorting out work there, so long as all such work is carried out safely in relation to your domestic activities, such as cooking in particular.
(Cont’d ~)
All cooking at tents, or at/in caravans or motor homes must be done with safe appliances (e.g. bottled gas or electric cookers), with any rocket propellants safely stored away from any cooking activities.
Open fires are not permitted.
